Meet Ruby! The NEW Pink Chocolate, Now At Muffin Break

There’s a new star in town. Meet Ruby, the fourth flavour of chocolate! This delicious, naturally pink chocolate is the first natural new flavour in 80 years and has taken the world by storm.

Introducing the Ruby Choc Muffin

To celebrate, we’ve partnered with Darrell Lea to create a delectable new Ruby Choc Muffin, just in time for Valentine’s Day! It’s time to lean into one of the biggest food trends of the moment.

Unique Ruby flavour.

Ruby is an entirely new variety of chocolate. Invented by Belgian-Swiss chocolatier Barry Callebaut, it has been one of the most talked-about food trends of the last year.

The first new natural flavour since white chocolate was invented in the 1930s, it is made from Ruby cocoa beans, which grow under unique climate conditions and can be found in Ecuador, Brazil or Ivory Coast. No colouring or berry flavour is added.

Its taste is distinct from milk, dark or white chocolate. Sweet with a hint of tartness, yet at the same time velvety and smooth, it has a natural fresh berry flavour and ruby tone, which comes exclusively from the Ruby cocoa bean.

The biggest thing since sliced bread?

Chefs around the globe have been proclaiming Ruby chocolate’s unique taste and pairing opportunities. With awards for innovation across the US and Middle East, it was ranked as a major food trend in 2019 by international research agency Innova Market Insights, FoodBev, Nikkei Trendy and Harper’s Bazaar magazine.

Ruby, my love!
