The Share the Dignity Muffin returns!
Looking To Help Women In Need? This Is YOUR Muffin!
Since 2018, we have supported our national charity partner, Share the Dignity, in the bid to support women in need in local Aussie communities.
Year on year, we have created the perfectly pink muffin, with proceeds going towards supporting the charity. This year, we are relaunching our most popular Share the Dignity Muffin to continue our support of the Australian charity with $1 from every muffin sold going towards Share the Dignity!
The Share the Dignity Muffin
Topped with Pink Cream Cheese Icing, covered in Melted White Chocolate, a White Chocolate Disk, half a Fresh Strawberry and a Charlie’s Fine Food co. Mini Raspberry Bliss Melting Moment, the wildly popular Share the Dignity Muffin will be available, nationwide in-stores and through delivery partner, Menulog, between August 3rd – 30th.
Alongside the Share the Dignity Muffin, Muffin Break will also be collecting donations from our Fancy Collection duffin, the Berry White Chocolate Duffin, doubling the fundraising possibilities for the month!
Who is Share the Dignity?
Share the Dignity makes a real, on-the-ground difference to women experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence or dealing with period poverty. The charity collects tens of thousands of period products every year, with thanks to the generosity of the community.
They work to ensure that when a women or girl is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period. Small dignities make a big difference.
Why we’ve partnered with Share the Dignity
Share the Dignity has been our national charity partner since 2018. Year on year, we continue to celebrate this partnership by dedicating the whole month of August and a special pink muffin to supporting the charity.
Over the last three years, we have raised over $30,000, allowing us to install two #PinkBox vending machines in regional Australian communities.
These #PinkBox vending machines are installed all over Australia in public toilets, homeless hubs, domestic violence refuges, community centres and schools, offering FREE access to a period pack for vulnerable woman. We believe access to sanitary items is a right and not a privilege, where no woman should ever have to choose between eating and living with dignity.
Can Muffin Break do it again?
The power of the Share the Dignity muffin has helped us raise over $50,000 to install 3 #PinkBox vending machines across the country.
This year, we’re aiming to donate another $20,000 to continue the mission! Can we do it again?
Pop into your local store to try the delicious Share the Dignity Muffin and Berry White Choc Duffin between 3rd – 30th August and help raise the funds to open more opportunities of dignity to local Aussie women in need.
