Over the past two years and especially alongside COVID19, Muffin Break witnessed significant growth in the need for digital innovation in their learning and working environments.

This led to the adoption and creation of new innovative training techniques within the realm of Artificial Intelligence including Virtual Reality (VR) realms, gamification, Quick Response (QR) codes and holograms.

Development of our TRAINING TECHNIQUES

Initially, the training team developed a selection of QR codes, assisting franchisees and staff to have both on-demand training and micro learning available on their personal devices.

The training modules available by QR codes focus on operational procedures, e.g. cleaning and use of equipment, coffee making and baking.

To assist with merchandising, the interactive VR tool takes users on a journey to demonstrate how their stores should look with each new promotion. Pointing out point of sale locations, product placement and decoration suggestions.

Whether scanning a code through the camera screen or an online portal available on mobile, we wanted to ensure the ease of accessibility and delivery were high on our priority list when choosing the delivery avenues.
