Muffin Break Contributes to Townsville Flood Assistance

Back in February 2019, heavy flooding washed through the regional community of Townsville, seeing many homes damaged.

It hit home for Muffin Break when our franchisees were affected by the floods. We knew we had to offer a helping hand!

$2 MUFFIN DAY – 14th FEBRUARY

Days later after the floods, Muffin Break celebrated Valentine’s Day with $2 muffins available in every store around the country. Our commitment to assisting flood relief was to match the $2 muffin sales of our stores in Townsville, to donate a cheque to the GIVIT Foundation.

OUR CONTRIBUTION

We had a super busy day celebrating Valentine’s Day which meant we were able to raise even greater funds to donate to the GIVIT Foundation who are assisting Townsville with the repairs and rebuild.

Here are our franchisees Bron and Filippo from Townsville Willows and Castletown presenting a cheque from the brand to the GIVIT.org.au charity with local Mayor, Jenny Hill, accepting on their behalf.
