Muffin Break dedicate the month of August to Share the Dignity, with our Share the Dignity Muffin. $1 from each Share the Dignity Muffin sold, is donated to Share the Dignity to raise funds for a #Pinkbox to be installed.
Bendigo Community Health Services are now the proud recipients of a Dignity Vending Machine thanks to Muffin Break and Share the Dignity.
What is a #PinkBox?
These #PinkBox vending machines are installed all over Australia in public toilets, homeless hubs, domestic violence refuges, community centres and schools, offering FREE access to a period pack to include 2 pads and 6 tampons to vulnerable woman. We believe access to sanitary items is a right and not a privilege, where no woman should ever have to choose between eating and living with dignity.

Natalie Brennan, General Manager of Muffin Break, reflects, “Muffin Break has always focused on proudly serving our local communities. In two years of partnership with Share the Dignity, Muffin Break has been able to raise over $25,000 to go towards the installation of these Pink Boxes. The installation of these boxes are critical in offering Aussie women in need the dignity of sanitary items for free.”
This is the outcome of our 2018 efforts and we’re looking forward to sharing with you which local community will share the dignity from 2019’s results.
