Wrapping Up Our JDRF One Walk Success
Walking for a world without type one diabetes
Muffin Break came out as a sponsor to support JDRF for their Sydney One Walk on Sunday 27th October 2019. JDRF are leading the fight against type 1 diabetes by funding research to cure, treat and prevent the disease.
The day was a huge success with Muffin Man out and about, giveaways and prizes all up for grabs. Muffin Break served up hundreds of free mini muffins made from their retail muffin mix that was made to accommodate diabetics. There was a flavour for everyone: blueberry, apple cinnamon and banana coconut!
We were able to introduce our new Muffin Break retail muffin mix made in partnership with PBCo so anyone can enjoy a Muffin Break treat at home. With no added sugar, the sugar per gram works out to accommodate our diabetic customers with a tasty base mix where they can add their favourite fruit along with wet ingredients to create the perfect mix for diabetics!
